Shraddha Kapoor’s 2018 film Stree makers took to social media to drop an official statement. The makers released a statement in relation to the film Stree and stated that they have resolved all differences amicably
Shraddha Kapoor entertained fans with her stellar performance in the film Stree. The 2018 horror-comedy featured Rajkummar Rao as well, apart from Shraddha Kapoor and left fans eagerly waiting for the sequel of the movie. Amidst all that, the makers of 2018 film Stree recently took to social media to drop an official statement. The makers released a statement about the film Stree and stated that they have resolved all differences amicably. The lead actress of the film is also all hearts after the announcement.
On Instagram, Maddock Films put out an official statement and wrote, “Official statement from Maddock Films Pvt Ltd & D2R Films LLP in relation to the film ‘Stree’. #DineshVijan @rajanddk #D2RFilms #Stree .” The official statement released by Maddock Films and D2R Films LLP read, “We, Maddock Films Pvt Ltd (and its promoter Mr Dinesh Vijan) & D2R Films LLP (and its partners Raj Nidimoru & Krishna DK) are pleased to confirm that we have amicably resolved our differences with regard to our film ‘Stree’ which released in August 2018. All copyright & intellectual property rights in & to the film ‘Stree’ including the derivative rights thereof are henceforth owned solely by Maddock Films Pvt Ltd.”

Meanwhile, as the makers were ‘pleased to confirm’ about resolving differences amicably, actress Shraddha Kapoor couldn’t hold her excitement. Within minutes since the statement was released, Shraddha dropped a heart on the post and liked the announcement made by the makers. In 2018, post the success of Stree, co-producers Dinesh Vijan and Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK got into a dispute over sharing of profits. As per reports, the two parties were bound by a contract to split profits into two halves. The film went on to make over Rs 40 crores as profits.
